Festive in Olhão

A nativity scene with human performers and animals can be visited in Olhão daily until January 6.

The initiative is by the Association of Commerce and Services in the Algarve (ACRAL)  and aims to attract people to the city centre to shop locally.

The live nativity scene can be visited from Monday to Friday from 4pm to 7pm, on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm and 4pm to 7pm, and on Sundays from 10am to midday. On January 6 (Kings’ Day), it can be visited from 10am to 1pm and 3pm to 8pm.

From January 2 to 12, the Three Kings’ Fair (Feira dos Reis Magos) will be taking place along the Avenida da República, including stalls selling handicraft and traditional foods.

The highlight during this period will be the Kings’ Parade through the streets of Olhão on January 6. Further information about this event will be available soon.
