Cadela Carlota is pleased to team up with The Tavern in Lagos for a Charity Clothing Pop-Up Shop on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 1pm to 4pm.
The event takes place at The Tavern, located in Rua Lançarote de Freitas 34, where visitors can browse rails of vintage finds and quality pre-loved clothing — the perfect mix of style and sustainability. Every purchase helps fund food, shelter and medical care for the dogs and cats at Cadela Carlota.
We’d like to thank The Tavern for kindly offering their space and time. Support from local businesses like theirs makes a real difference, helping us raise funds and reach new supporters across the community. Small events like this keep the shelter running and the rescue work possible.
Unfortunately, our work never stops. Just this week, six newborn puppies were discovered inside a rubbish bin in Lagos and rescued by the Bombeiros de Lagos (firefighters). Two were too weak to survive, but four are now safe in the care of one of our volunteers, Ani. We’re urgently seeking an experienced foster carer in or near Lagos to help bottle-feed them — or any of the many kittens and puppies that arrive at our gates.
Moments like this remind us why community support is so vital. Every sale, donation, or event helps us give abandoned animals the chance they deserve.
