The renowned delicacy is celebrated during the 36th Guia Chicken Festival this week with plenty of entertainment.
The 36th Guia Chicken Festival kicks off at 18h00 this Wednesday, July 30.
The event, which highlights one of the region’s most famous delicacies, will run daily at the Guia Sports Centre until Sunday, August 3.
Alongside the festival, where visitors will enjoy the famous Guia Chicken, the 17th Guia Crafts Exhibition, opening at 19h00, will also showcase dozens of items inspired by the region’s traditions.
Music is another highlight at Guia Chicken Festival, and this year, there are many reasons to enjoy a lively evening with friends and family.
This event, already a success both nationally and internationally, is organised by Guia Futebol Clube with support from Guia Parish Council, Albufeira Municipality, and local businesses.
