The trial of 14 people of Moldavian and Ukrainian nationality, accused of organising an illegal immigrants ring in the Algarve with the aim of sexual exploitation, started in Albufeira last Monday.
The hearing is taking place behind closed doors to the public because of the sensitivity of some of the evidence, relating to the plot which was dismantled by police almost three years ago.
