Motorsports lovers will be in for a treat this weekend as Albufeira hosts a MotoGP roadshow on Saturday (October 4).
The event, taking place from 11am to 5pm in the car park in front of the courthouse and along Avenida dos Descobrimentos, is promising a fun-filled day with stunt shows by award-winning stunt rider Humberto Ribeiro, live music, contests, giveaways, exclusive promotions on race tickets and other family-friendly activities. Visitors will also have the rare chance to see the Yamaha M1 up close – the bike ridden by MotoGP stars Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins in this year’s World Championship.
The roadshow aims to provide a taste of MotoGP action ahead of the Portuguese Grand Prix, set to take place at the Algarve International Racetrack in Portimão between November 7-9.
Organised by the Algarve International Racetrack in partnership with the municipal council of Albufeira and local entities, the event aims to share the unique atmosphere of MotoGP with the town.
Tickets for the Portuguese Grand Prix are available online, with prices starting at €60.
