More than 140,000 people have already joined the online waiting list for tickets to Kanye West’s concert at the Estádio do Algarve, scheduled for August 7.
The overwhelming demand means fans entering the pre-sale on Tuesday, March 24 at 9am are likely to face extended waiting times in the digital queue. Each registered user will be able to purchase up to six tickets.
The pre-sale window will remain open until Wednesday, March 25 at 11.59pm, before general ticket sales open to the public on Thursday, March 26 at 9am.
Ticket prices start at €119 and rise to €500 depending on category and seating tier. Organisers say details of VIP boxes and premium hospitality packages will be released after the general sale begins.
GUEST, the event’s promoter, has also confirmed that special guest appearances are planned for the show, although no official names have yet been announced. However, speculation is already circulating around potential collaborators and surprise performers, with artists such as Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Ty Dolla Sign and Future all linked to Ye’s wider European touring schedule this summer.
The concert will mark first appearance by Kanye West, also known as Ye, in Portugal since 2011 and comes more than a decade after his last performance in the country. It also follows the announcement of his new album Bully, due for release on March 27.
“The show is expected to draw thousands of international visitors to the Algarve, further reinforcing the region’s position as a strategic destination for major cultural events,” GUEST says in a statement.
