Colégio Internacional de Vilamoura (CIV) will host its traditional Christmas Fair tomorrow (Saturday, November 22), a charity event that promises unique moments of sharing and celebration. The fair will take place from 10am to 3pm on the CIV campus and will offer a wide variety of attractions for the entire family.
Visitors will find stalls featuring national and international cuisine, regional products, sweets, organic goods, books, toys, handicrafts, as well as musical performances and plenty of entertainment for children and young people.
Program highlights:
- Arrival of Santa Claus at 11am
- Performance by the CIV Band
- Raffle draw with special prizes
- Inflatables
- Mechanical bull
- Photo studio with a Christmas backdrop
This event is also an opportunity for everyone to contribute through donations:
- Food items for the Food Bank
- Pet food and supplies for animals under the care of ARA (Animal Rescue Algarve)
Preparations are in full swing, and the entire school community is enthusiastically engaged in organizing this initiative.
Organisers say: “With the conviction that the path to a better world involves engaging children and young people in solidarity actions, CIV reaffirms its commitment to human development, promoting solidarity values, a culture of peace, and active citizenship.”
This year, the Christmas Fair will support the following institutions:
- Refeitório Social de Quarteira – Supporting the local community in need
- The Big Hand – Sponsorship of 5 Mozambican children, funding their education
- Centro de Acolhimento Temporário “Os Miúdos” – Loulé
The fair is organized with the logistical support of Câmara Municipal de Loulé, Junta de Freguesia de Quarteira, and Inframoura.
