They say summer only starts when Cuá Cuá opens, and on July 5, the beloved venue opened its doors for the summer season.
Described as a fusion of bar, restaurant, and club, Cuá Cuá is set in the Algarve’s Quinta do Lago resort and spans over 1,000 m² of “stylish yet relaxed design”. According to its website, it is the” most anticipated spot each year for unforgettable summer dinners, family and friend gatherings, as well as social and corporate events.”
After a soft opening, the official reopening happens on July 19, launching a series of themed nights with standout DJs like Gabriel Nazaré, Rodrigo Ribeiro, Carol Emmerick, Pedro d’Orey, Pedro Lagoá, Cenoura, Vasco Pereira Coutinho, António Coimbra, and more.
The summer party calendar heats up with the Anniversary Celebration on July 29 and signature events like the “Baile dos Mauricinhos”, “Baile das Patricinhas”, “Viva La Vida” and “Blended”.
Highlights include live performances by Las Migas on July 22 – a Spanish quartet blending flamenco, rumba, jazz, bolero, tango and Latin rhythms – and La Cuarta Cuerda on July 28, mixing Andalusian flamenco with modern, upbeat flair. These nights promise to “bring the house down.”
The season wraps on August 31, when Cuá Cuá closes for the year. Reservations are now open – spaces are limited, so the team behind the venue advises booking early.
Cuá Cuá is located at Buganvilia Plaza and is open from 6.30pm to 6am. Reservations can be made online (www.cuacuaclub.com ) or by telephone (+351 927 111 048)
