An auction of art works that were exhibited during the Arte Algarve OPEN VI at the Lagoa winery gallery is taking place this Sunday (December 16) from 3pm.
The show, featuring more than 50 artists, has been visited by around 3,000 people. To celebrate this, gallery owner Rolf Osang wants to toast “the end of a very good year” with an auction.
Artists will offer one item each for auction. The chosen paintings and sculptures have already been marked with a green label. The minimum bid will begin at half price, so a painting with an original price of €550 will start as low as €275.
Mulled wine and tapas will be served during the auction that runs until 5pm.
