Top-ranked Portuguese golfer Ricardo Santos staged a remarkable recovery at the PGA European Tour Lyoness Open in Austria last weekend. The 29-year-old from Faro followed a disastrous six above par opening effort of 78 with excellent rounds of 66, 70 and 69 to finish the tournament in 33rd place behind home winner Bernd Wiesberger.
