Today (Friday), Saturday and Sunday the Jacinto Correia and Manuel Ferraz sports arena in Lagoa will be the focus for all fans of women’s football.
The futsal Nations Cup brings together seven-a-side teams from Spain, Iran and Brazil in Group A while Portuguese representatives Benfica face the Japanese Fun Ladies and Russia’s Aurora in Group A.
The prestigious annual competition has been won by Brazil’s Sabesp and Spain’s Elche in 2007 and 2008.
