The Algarve’s only fair of Mediterranean plants, the Mediterranean Garden Fair, will be held on November 3 in the south gardens of the Pousada de Estoi, the site of the old Estoi Palace.
During the fair, various demonstrations will teach visitors basic techniques when gardening at home, so that garden-lovers can make the most out of their Algarve gardens.
Talks will discuss topics such as natural swimming ponds, biodynamic cultivation and gardening with native plants.
Entry to the event, which runs from 11am to 4pm, will cost €1, including a programme leaflet.
