Galeria Côrte-Real in Paderne introduces a series of inspiring bronze figures created by internationally recognised sculptress, Suzie Marsh.
A member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors, Suzie Marsh is renowned for her accurate portrayal of animals. She has completed sculptures for London’s Zoological Society. Recently in Zimbabwe, the focus of her assignment was the hippopotamus in the wild.
In contrast, her sculptures displayed at Côrte-Real capture the agile antics of the Algarve’s local hare – Lepus capensis.
For every sculpture that is sold the artist donates a percentage to support animal charities across the globe. C.K.
