The Algarve Senior Bikers group ride in September was in the Eastern Algarve. The route from the start in São Brás de Alportel was through the hills above Tavira to Alcaria do Cume and then on to Odeleite.
Lunch was at the restaurant Bela Vista overlooking the barragem (dam).
The day was planned by Hans Veninga who has organised the rides in this area many times over the years but was unable to take part on this occasion.
The leaders were Yves Breyer and Peter Kenyon and, as usual, the two sidecar regulars Johannes Klein and Tus Gentes followed and acted as sweepers at the back.
Another beautiful clear sunny day and fantastic views from the hilltops towards the coast and the Spanish border.
