Alice in Wonderland inspires luxury Easter treats in Vilamoura

Glee Boutique Café unveils fantasy-themed desserts and chocolate creations

Glee Boutique Café in Vilamoura is celebrating Easter with a new collection of desserts and chocolates drawing inspiration from the world of Alice in Wonderland.

This year’s Easter collection takes customers into a fantasy world, with four standout desserts inspired by iconic characters. “The Rabbit” features almond and orange cake with orange jam and almond mousse, while “The Cup” is an aromatic cake that pays tribute to the Mad Hatter’s tea party with flavours of fennel, pumpkin and jasmine. “The Rose” combines coconut, red fruits and white chocolate, and “Alice” brings together sesame, yoghurt and lemon in a fresh, light creation. Each dessert is priced at €9.

Chocolate lovers are also catered for with a range of sculpted Easter eggs in five different types of chocolate and two sizes. Designs include “Alice’s Garden” in dark chocolate, “The Mushroom” in white chocolate, “The Hatter” in gold chocolate, “The Cat” in ruby chocolate and “The Queen of Hearts” in milk chocolate, with prices ranging from €25 to €32 for larger versions.

The collection also features themed bonbons, including a white chocolate piece filled with orange caramel and almond praline, and a milk chocolate option with hazelnut and buttery ganache, priced at €3.50 each.

The Easter collection is now available to order, with pick-up running from March 30 to April 5.

Located inside the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura, the café has built a reputation for high-end pastries, including colourful macarons, handcrafted chocolates and traditional Portuguese and French sweets, all prepared under the direction of pastry chef Patrick Mestre.
