Three blood and bone marrow collection sessions have been organised by the Western Algarve blood donors association (ADSBA) to take place this month in the Algarve.
The first, tomorrow (Saturday), will be held at the Aquashow Park Hotel in Quarteira from 10am to 2pm.
On Sunday, donors can visit the Barlavento Hospital in Portimão to donate from 9am to 12.30pm.
Then on Saturday, November 17, the Algoz E.B.2,3 School will hold a session from 9.30am to 1pm.
To be a blood donor, you have to be aged between 18 and 65 (or 60 years of age if it is the first time donating blood), be healthy and weigh a minimum of 50kg.
