The Algarve’s charitable children’s association, ACCA, is appealing for Christmas angels to answer the simple wishes of under-privileged children living below the poverty line or in orphanages in the region this festive season.
With over 1,200 wishes so far, ACCA’s Christmas Angel Programme asks readers to become ‘Christmas angels’ and purchase a gift for a child who is less unfortunate.
Jackie Quirk of ACCA said: “Their wishes are not very large. Please be an angel and buy a Christmas present for a child who really needs it. These children are truly beautiful, deserving and grateful.”
