This month São Brás Museum is presenting two courses led by Mário Areal, instructor of martial arts and information technology (IT).
From November 19 to 23, Mário will lead an IT course on MS Office and internet in the mornings. He will help attendees improve their general computer skills such as how to use main tools in Word, Excel, Power Point and internet.
The course takes place each day from 10am to 1.30pm and costs €100 (€110 for non members).
During the same period but in the afternoons, Mário will put on his martial arts instructor hat to lead an hoshinsul course, held in Portuguese and English. He will cover several aspects of self-defence including preventative attitudes and non-aggressive behaviour.
The course is held each day from 6pm to 8pm. Cost for the full course is €50 (€55 for non members) or per individual session €15 (€17 non members).
