The holiday season will be celebrated in style at Albufeira’s W Algarve hotel, which will host a series of festive events between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day.
The celebrations begin on Christmas Eve (December 24) with Release the Feast at Market Kitchen and Paper Moon (6pm–10.30 pm, €135 per adult, €70 for children under 12), where live music from 7pm to 9.30pm sets the tone for an indulgent festive dinner. On the same evening, a Jingle Jam Night party is scheduled at W Lounge, from 9pm to 1am.
For those looking to gain new skills, W Algarve will host a Sushi Sleigh masterclass (December 24 and 28, 3.30pm-5pm, €35 pp) and a Gingerbread Cookie Decoration workshop (December 25, 11am-1pm, free). Other hands-on experiences run throughout the week: a Pizza Masterclass at Paper Moon (December 26 and 29, 3.30pm-5pm, €15pp); a Mixology Masterclass at W Lounge (December 26 and 28, 5.30pm–6.30pm, €15 pp); and a Cataplana Masters at Market Kitchen (December 27, 1pm-3pm, €35 pp including glass of wine). Aspiring DJs can also learn the ropes at DJ Academy (December 25, 27 and 30, 4pm-5.30pm, free).
Meanwhile, Boxing Day (December 26) brings all-day Premier League screenings at W Studios alongside festive wellness sessions from yoga to circuit training, while wine lovers can look forward to two sessions of Festive Wine Tasting at Vino (December 25 and 29, 5.30pm-7pm, €30 pp).
The spotlight turns to New Year’s Eve (31 December) with The Last of 2025 dinners: Market Kitchen (€205 pp buffet, €95 for children) with live music until 11.45pm; Paper Moon (€205 – €225 pp, two sittings); and a wine-paired fine-dining experience at Vino (€265 pp, children €132.50, optional €80 wine pairing). As midnight nears, the House of Style parties begin, with live music at W Lounge (11pm–2am) and a late-night pizza and champagne bash at Paper Moon (€50pp open bar, €80 for champagne, 11.30pm-2am).
The celebrations wind down on January 1 with Start It with Brunch at Paper Moon (12.30pm-3.30pm, €65 pp).
