Participants enjoyed a four-day stay in Vilamoura for the inaugural Vilamoura Golf Challenges (VGC) between November 17 and 19.
Developed by the Iberian Golf Tour (IGT) and sponsored by Cat’s Bar, golfers had three nights’ accommodation and two rounds of competition golf at the Pestana Vila Sol Golf Club as well as a welcome gift pack with snacks and drinks, on-course lunches and other post golf activities.
The competition was won by the sponsor’s invited guest, João Silva, who won entry into the 2nd Pro Am Suisse Vilamoura to be held from March 3 to 10 next year.
A similar prize was won by Switzerland’s Yvan Marti.
The Swiss pairing of Patrice Jeanbourquin and Raimond Boillat won entry into February 2012’s Vilamoura Golf Challenges.

The next Vilamoura Golf Challenge will be held from February 9 to 12 next year.
