Jazz project in São Brás Museum

São Brás Jazz Club, located within the Museu do Trajo, will be presenting the Mother Water Project by singer Manuela Lopes on November 18 at 5pm. The project has taken inspiration from Mozambique poetry and the Indian Ocean. In 1985, singer/songwriter Manuela Lopes was invited to the first International Jazz Venue in the Algarve, opening for British saxophonist Ronnie Scott, owner of the famous Ronnie’s Scott’s Club in Soho, London. This was her debut in the jazz scene. Today she is recognised as one of the best jazz singers in Portugal. She has been singing with the most appraised musicians in the Algarve. Cost per person is €10. 966329073
