For the third year running, the Vale do Lobo Christmas Market, on December 1, will raise funds for the Wolf Valley Charity Fund, providing support to numerous needy causes in the local area.
Held within the clubhouse and grounds of Vale do Lobo, the event combines a luxury lifestyle Christmas gift market with a gourmet food and wine area, allowing visitors to shop, eat, drink and generally be merry.
Open from 11am to 5pm, a full day of fun activities is planned, including children’s entertainment, singers, choirs and fashion shows in the main auditorium.
Visitors will be able to stroll through a European-style food market and buy delicious treats, hand-made gifts, toys and some unusual crafts.
Many of the exhibitors only make products for the festive season and the organisers expect a multicultural and eclectic gift selection.
Fine Dining in Style, an Algarve-based gourmet catering company, will again bring their traditional German-style Christmas cabin, offering hot food on-the-go and taking lunch reservations. Hot sausages and wine from Herdade dos Grous in the Alentejo will also be on sale alongside Glühwein/mulled wine and many other winter warmers.
An entrance fee/donation of €3 per adult will be charged.
The Algarve Resident is again the main media sponsor for the event.
