The Holiday Inn Algarve in Armação de Pêra has announced the inaugural lunch of its new Ladies Lunch Club for Wednesday, November 14.
The club is free to join and all women are welcome. Organisers hope the lunch club will be an opportunity “to catch up with old friends and make new ones”.
A three-course buffet lunch with wine will start at 1pm and be followed by a speaker – this month Verna Kinder who moved to the Algarve in 1995 and will talk about local charities and how the Ladies Lunch Club can help.
Organisers said: “These difficult economic times are proving challenging for everyone and there are ways we can work together with benefits for all concerned.”
Bar Boa Vista within the hotel is offering a 25% discount on drinks from 12pm to 1pm to women attending the lunch. Cost for the lunch is €15 per person.
