New 2013 calendars produced by Friends of the New Goldra Dog Sanctuary, featuring photographs of Algarve dogs seeking new homes or sponsorship, are now available from various pick-up points across the region. The New Goldra Dog Sanctuary is a non-profit organisation that relies on donations to fund food, medication and vet expenses for the needy animals. To raise much needed funds for the animal shelter, the new calendars will cost €8.95 per copy and can be picked up and paid for at the following locations: Algarve Resident office (Lagoa), Iceland Supermarket (Guia Retail Park), Bookworms (Albufeira), Clínica Veterinária do Páteo (Páteo), Luzdoc (Praia da Luz), The Golf Shack (Porches Retail Park), Patas ao Ar (Loulé) and Silver Holidays (Vilamoura).
The calendar is an ideal Christmas present for any animal lover.
