The Minister of Economy has expressed concern about the growing number of couples who find themselves unemployed and said that the government is hoping to help 25,000 families with a range of new measures that will support competitiveness, employment and investment. Álvaro Santos Pereira announced that the government plans to encourage economic growth by combatting unemployment, providing advice on financing and recapitalisation, and promoting entrepreneurship and investment. “Portugal will not be move forward without investment and we intend to promote this,” said the minister.
