Only formed in 2023, The Phantoms Golf Society has just celebrated some very successful tournaments at the Benamor Golf Club in Tavira.
Eddie Tittensor and Sandra Stronghill jointly won the two-day competition which concluded with a great night out for members and partners in São Brás de Alportel.
Says David Elsworthy, Society Captain: “We’re so pleased with how our club is growing, offering like-minded individuals, both low and high handicappers, the social friendship and support that comes with being a member of a friendly golf society.
“I also think we’re quite unique in offering a 50% reduction on membership fee, which definitely seems to suit some of our members who don’t live full-time in the Algarve and can’t play as much as they would like.”
Upcoming events will include medal and stableford competitions at Benamor GC as well as away days at other courses in the Algarve or in Spain.
