Algarve mountaineer Filipe Jose has successfully completed the Everest Marathon in finishing 20th out of the 76 competitors who attempted a mass assault on the world’s highest peak.
“I am full of pains but euphoric and overjoyed,” José said in an email sent to his home Sambrasense Cultural Association afterwards.
