According to the UK’s Sun newspaper, Blackburn Rovers are keen to sign Olhanense’s central defender André Pinto, currently on loan with the Algarve side from FC Porto.
If, as seems likely, Chris Samba leaves Ewood Park in the summer, then the talented Pinto, an under 21 international, is seen as the ideal replacement but would cost the relegation threatened club €1.8m.
