Lusitano de Vila Real de Santo António, one of the oldest clubs in Portugal, beat Silves 3-1 last weekend to secure their return to the national third division. At the same time the Algarve’s most successful club over the past 50 years, Farense, celebrated a 3-1 victory over Messinense to all but secure promotion from the Third Division Series F.
