Fresh flavours, new season: NANA on the Beach celebrates winter by the sea

For this new season, the restaurant is focusing on its breakfast menu

NANA on the Beach, in Armação de Pêra, invites guests to experience winter by the sea with a menu that combines Greek flavours and the soul of the Mediterranean. The restaurant has reopened for another season, bringing with it a renewed menu and the same relaxed energy that has made it one of the Algarve’s most iconic spots.

At a time of year when the Algarve slows its pace and the light takes on a softer glow, NANA on the Beach, the Greek-Mediterranean-inspired restaurant at Vila Vita Parc, located on Praia dos Pescadores in Armação de Pêra, reopens its doors to celebrate winter by the sea. With privileged views over the ocean, the space presents itself as a serene retreat, ideal for enjoying the tranquility of the colder season, always with the sea as a backdrop.

For this new season, the restaurant is focusing on its breakfast menu, available from Wednesday to Sunday, from 9am to 12pm. The new morning menu features balanced and comforting options, designed to start the day slowly and pleasurably. Highlights include Greek yogurt with homemade granola, red berry tapioca, fluffy pancakes served with honey and butter, and creamy scrambled eggs with crispy bacon. For those who prefer lighter options, there are avocado toasts, cold-pressed natural juices, and a carefully curated selection of specialty coffees and teas.

NANA -3

Complementing the experience, NANA presents its Winter Specials, a selection of dishes that translate the essence of the Mediterranean with a warm and comforting touch. The curry hummus surprises with the harmony between chickpeas and aromatic spices; the beyti kebab, prepared with seasoned meat wrapped in flatbread, is served with yogurt and tomato sauce, evoking authentic flavours from Anatolia.

The braised lamb shank pays tribute to slow, comforting cuisine, while the sautéed shrimp saganaki combines the sweetness of seafood with the freshness of tomato and feta cheese. The octopus orzo offers an intense and sophisticated profile, in a dish that reflects the natural connection between sea and land.

The regular menu remains a celebration of simple and elegant Greek-Mediterranean cuisine. Among the favourites are Mediterranean dips with artisanal bread, crispy calamari rings, dolmades – vine leaves stuffed with rice and herbs – fresh burrata salad, traditional souvlakis, and to finish, delicate semolina cream with pear, a smooth and balanced dessert.

Alongside Praia Dourada and Arte Náutica restaurants, Nana on the Beach offers easy access, with parking available.
