ALFA, the association of literary friends of the Algarve, will be returning with English language events after a substantial break. The first is a poetry slam on November 8 from 7.30pm at the convent in Lagoa.
Anybody is welcome to take part in the event where each person can perform two poems of their choice, either ones they have penned themselves or poems that they particularly like written by others.
Meanwhile, on November 15 the poetry slam will be repeated in German at the convent in Lagoa from 7.30pm.
Admission to the poetry slam is free for participants, €5 for members and €6 for guests.
